Riddles may be reviewed in the database under casefiles.

The Planets

There are six Nostradamus Enigmas based around the planets:

On the palace where / Bourbon’s daughter lived.

The assembly meets on, / A bridge facing South.

Make your way to the large building in the restricted area to the north-west (Palais Bourbon, where Bourbon’s daughter lived). There is a catwalk / bridge at the top of the south wall of the building where the next riddle waits.

Rich and poor face, / The wheel of time.

Travel South to cross, / The water of River Styx

From Palais Bourbon, travel south-west into the farmlands / wine vineyards. You’ll come to a shallow creek – follow it to a broken water wheel and find the final riddle on the rock near it’s base.

Across the wall, / On the other side.

Souls cross the bridge, / To Southlands beyond.

Follow the river as it curves to the south until a proper bridge spans both sides. On top of the bridge, roughly halfway across, is the final symbol.

In a peaceful field swen with stones, / A winged watcher waits.

Her gentle gaze graces all souls, / Follow to the resting place.

On ground level, to the east of your start point, lies a cemetary with a large statue of an angel. Follow the direction that it’s head is pointing in to find the next riddle on the back of a tombstone.

Notre Dame Cathedral looks over her daughters

One snuggled between dame and Sainte-Chapelle.

There, the face of the Son / watches o’er his flock.

Head to a high perch on Notre Dame and look to the north (where Sainte-Chapelle lies). Roughly halfway between the two, across from the Social Club building, a smaller church is snuggled between two houses. A Christ-head sits above the door – climb up to it to collect the next riddle.

Beyond a Dauphine, the blue ribbons

Diverge, making way for man and beast.

An assassin’s victime struck a shrewd bargain / to acquire a city.

The treasure lies beneath the mount.

Where the rivers split around the island on the north-west side of Ile de la Cite sits a statue of a man on a horse. The fragment piece is hidden on the north-side plaque on the statue’s base.

The lady of the domicille / Judges comings and goings

From her couch-like throne / At the top of the stair

Head up to the front hall of the Cafe Theatre ( where the Lady judges comings and goings) and go to the top of the grand staircase. Ahead of you to the right is a portrait of a woman reclining in a chair – interact with it to solve the first riddle.

Lowly sinners, each as we are / Aspire to the domed heav’ns

Fickle fate points beyond, / Where a supine city / Beckons.

Make your way onto the roof of the Cafe Theatre (where the city rises supine to meet you), then locate the domed roof with a large weather vane – above the Legacy room in the attic. Beneath the weather vane is the Disc Fragment.

I wield two blades, / Flanked by Justice and Law.

I strike true and fair, hour by hour,

For monarchs and peasants alike.

To the west of the start point sits a large building with a clock at it’s corner. On either side is a statue of a figure of justice – climb the wall to collect the riddle on the face of the clock.

Encircled by 24 petals of light,

Our Lady of the Rose watches, silent as stone,

O’er believers below.

Look to the Lady lit by the setting sun. / Look to the blossoming rose.

Go to Notre Dame and climb to the large 24-point window on her front face (the church was famous for it’s rose-colored glass windows). The statue at the base of the window holds the next riddle.

To surveil her subjects and the heavens

‘Twixt Sun and Earth encaged in iron.

From the west gate, head halfway across the north side of the city to Le Halle aux Bles (the large Colosseum-esque building you broke into in the story mission of the same name). At the base of the tower on the side of the rounded rooftop is the final piece of this Enigma puzzle.

To where their necks are severed

After leaving le Palais-Royale, head southwest to the final bridge in the center of the city.
